Direct Financial Assistance Programs
Parking Assistance - Parking validations are purchased monthly and donated to both Texas Children's Hospital Cancer Center & MD Anderson Cancer Center to help families offset the cost of parking for office visits and admission while in treatment.
Financial Assistance - When funds are available we provide direct finanical assistance to families to offset the non-medical cost associated with treatment. The average gift is $500.00.
The most common request are made for:
- mortgage/rent
- car payments
- utilities
- funeral/memorial services
(Applications are pre-screened by agency/hospital staff)
Social Assistance Programs
A Meal to Heal - our catered meal service provided for families during bereavement includes: 3 ready to serve meals complete with dessert & utensils, dry goods, household and personal care items, gift cards & gas cards.
A Heart Like Hers Holiday Toy Drive - provides gifts for the patients and siblings at Texas Children's Hospital Cancer Center
